Mercy Will Come Through For You

“For His mercy endures forever” ended the calls for thanksgiving in Psalm 136.

I have taken a lot of time to meditate on many favours that I have received from God and wondered how many of them I merited and how many I could afford to buy and the conclusion was that I did not merit any of them and I can’t afford anyone of them.

Many times we take the favour and goodness of God for granted; we pose as if God is indebted to us. Sometimes it seems as if we can fix God by anything. I have learnt over the years that we just have to remain grateful for all his goodness and mercy to us.

The call is “Oh, give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good and his mery endureth forever” Psalm 136:1. KJV.

Love, mercy and grace are three things that all the blessing of God hinges on. There is no person that these three can’t get to. At every point in life we all enjoy these in some measures.

You can go a step further by asking God for help. The love, mercy and grace of God will rise up in your favour. There is no stituation anyone is going through that God cannot handle. You don’t have to deserve his blessing before you come to him. He said “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matt. 11:28. KJV.

You don’t have to pay for the blessings; he said ““Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk, without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.” Isaiah 55:1 -2. NKJV (Biblegateway.com). You are invited, so come!

Are you bothered by guilt, God says come! His mercy will avail for you, if you dare to go to God for help. Jesus spent a lot of time working to restore those that did not deserve good things.

“And their scribes and the Pharisees complained against His disciples, saying, “Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:30-32. NKJV. Biblegateway.com.

Don’t be paralysed by past faillings, step out of the shadows of guilt and let the healing power of God touch you today.

God will do this because of his mercy.
